Clinical Flow MD is not a healthcare clinic or facility, however is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.
1. Our Commitment
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, including accommodations for:
Visual impairments (blindness, low vision, color blindness)
Hearing impairments (deafness, hard of hearing)
Motor impairments (limited fine motor control, inability to use a mouse)
Cognitive disabilities (learning disabilities, attention disorders)
2. Accessibility Features
Our website incorporates the following accessibility features:
Semantic HTML: We use proper heading structures, landmark regions, and semantic elements to assist screen readers
Alt text: All informational images include descriptive alternative text
Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard
Color contrast: We maintain sufficient contrast ratios between text and backgrounds
Responsive design: Our site is functional across all screen sizes and zoom levels up to 200%
Focus indicators: Visible focus outlines are provided for keyboard navigation
ARIA labels: Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) attributes are used where native HTML semantics are insufficient
Skip navigation: Skip-to-content links are available for keyboard users
Form labels: All form fields include associated labels and error messaging
3. Conformance Status
We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. While we strive for comprehensive accessibility, some content may not yet fully conform. We are actively working to identify and resolve any gaps. Our conformance efforts include:
Regular automated and manual accessibility audits
Testing with screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver)
Keyboard-only navigation testing
Color contrast analysis
User testing with individuals who have disabilities
4. Assistive Technology Compatibility
Our website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
Screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
Screen magnification software
Speech recognition software
Alternative keyboard and switch devices
5. Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have known limitations:
Some third-party content or embedded media may not be fully accessible
Older PDF documents may not meet current accessibility standards
Some interactive animations may not be fully compatible with all assistive technologies
We are actively working to address these limitations and welcome feedback on areas where we can improve.
